123 News Dear Bithi,
Just wanted to thank you and your team for the wonderful work you are doing at The Foundation . As any other parent, I was really anxious for Ananya. I wondered if she would settle down easily in a new environment, after having been only in a home environment. However your team of teachers, co-coordinators and support staff have done a great job in helping my daughter settle down so easily.
Right from the 'akka' at the gate to the 'auties' in the class, everyone wears a big bright smile which is so welcoming early in the morning. And in the afternoon, I spot that smile on Ananya's face! Which proves that during the day along with the knowledge-transfer, there also has been a love-transfer!
Looking forward to many more 'Happy moments' at The Foundation.

123 News As a parent, right from my child's birth I wondered which would be the right school for my child and if I can find one right near my place. My thanks to my friend Rebecca who introduced me to 'The Foundation' @ Malleshpalya. Right from the first day, even though my son was crying through, I could notice that the 'care' ingredient in The Foundation School is very much the same as the kid would receive at home. They focus on each and every child and nurture them in such a way that there is wholesome growth in the child. In addition to academics, children also learn discipline, manners, etc., which are essential and should be inculcated in the early years. Thanks to the management and staff at 'The Foundation'. Welcome to The Foundation School

An IIT/IIM Alumni School (Affiliated to CBSE)

The Foundation school was established in 2009. The school follows a methodology that helps children learn through hands on activities and experiential learning. Children at The Foundation School are seen not as consumers who need external entertainment, but as producers who interact with various learning material with their own hands; construct knowledge and gain immense satisfaction from the process.

In keeping with this methodology, The Foundation School follows the Montessori Philosophy at the pre-primary level, and experiential learning from grade 1 onwards. The key points of the Foundation's methodologies are:

The curriculum is child centric and moves at a comfortable pace giving children time for discovery by themselves.

Each child gets individual attention while learning as the school maintains low student-teacher ratios for all learning activities.

Learning is understanding oriented. In consonance with experiential learning, the school provides a large number of hands on activities for children to learn, especially in maths and science.

Learning is not limited to prescribed curriculum. Children who show interest in any particular area beyond what is taught, are provided further material and interactions to satisfy their quest for knowledge.

To facilitate all-round development, children go through structured classes in sports, art, craft, music and dance. This helps them develop life-long hobbies and interests.

The school encourages development of hobbies such as intelligent collection of coins, stamps, leaves, post cards or anything else the child is interested in.

To satisfy the child's innate curiosity of the world around him/her, the curriculum provides children with a simple-big picture about the physical world, living world, history of the universe and the child's place in it.

The school currently has multiple branches:

Preprimary at Malleshpalya near CV Raman Nagar in Bangalore

Preprimary at Whitefield in Bangalore

Preprimary, Primary, Middle school and High school  (grade 1 to 9) at Gunjur near Varthur in Bangalore
